TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Bookings

  • Temporary bookings may remain pencilled for a period of 24 hours only.

  • Bookings are ONLY confirmed on receipt of proof of payment and a completed booking form.

  • The full booking fee is payable for bookings less than 4 hours.

  • ONLY written correspondence will be accepted for bookings (email or WhatsApp). Any verbal or other form of communications will NOT be considered valid for bookings.

  • Bookings on weekends and public holidays are subject to a 2 hour minimum booking.

 

 

Payment

  • Proof of payment secures the booking.

  • Proof of payment will only be valid once the funds are cleared in the studio bank account.

  • The full booking fee is payable for bookings less than 4 hours.

  • A 50% booking fee plus the completed booking form secures the booking.

  • Balance of payment is due 24 hours before the start of the shoot.

  • NO CASH payments will be accepted.

  • EFT payments are preferred.

  • Card payment (Master and Visa cards) will be subject to a service fee of 3.5% of the total amount and will be added to the booking.

 

Time Allocation

  • The studio operating times are 08h00 – 17h00 daily.

  • Additional charges as per the rate card apply for times outside the above operating times.

  • Access to the studio will be given 15 minutes before the start of the booking.

  • The studio must be tidied up and cleared no later than 5 minutes after the end of the booking. More than 10 minutes will be charged as a full hour.

  • Extra time will be charged at the applicable hourly rate and are subject to availability.

  • Any additional setup and strike time required can be booked at the applicable hourly rate.

  • Preferred time slots for weekends and public holidays are: 08h00 – 10h00 / 11h00 – 13h00 / 14h00 – 16h00.

 

Late Arrivals

  • Late arrivals and starting will reduce your time in the studio.

  • Late arrival will not automatically extend the booking time.

  • If the person in who’s name the booking is made arrives later than 20 minutes after the start of the booking, the studio will be locked and the booking fee will be forfeited. Anyone already in the studio will be asked to leave.

 

Postponements and Cancellations

  • If the client paid and needs to postpone the shoot, ENROC STUDIO needs to be informed in writing no less than 48 hours before the start of the shoot.

  • Postponements made less than 48 hours before the start of the shoot will be subject to a penalty fee.

  • If a booking is postponed, the new booking date has to be confirmed within 24 hours from the postponement notice.

  • The postponed booking date needs to be within 10 days from the original date to avoid a penalty.

  • Cancellations of a paid shoot must be done in writing (WhatsApp or email) no less than 72 hours before the scheduled start of the shoot.

  • Any cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start of the shoot are subject to penalties.

 

Penalties

  • If the client gives notice of a postponement less than 48 hours before the start of the shoot, ENROC STUDIO reserves the right to charge a 25% penalty fee.

  • If the postponed date is more than 10 days from the original booking, a 50% penalty will apply.

  • Cancellations made 72 hours before the start of the shoot are subject to a R300 admin fee which will be deducted from the booking fee.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours before the start of the shoot will be subject to a 50% fee of the total booking with a R300 minimum.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours before the start of the shoot will be subject to a 100% fee of the total booking.

 

Rules

  • If any of the equipmentor props are damaged or broken by you or anyone else in the studio during your booking period, you will own it and will be replacing if with the same new equipment or props.

  • The use of backdrops are included in the the rental, however any damae to the backdrops will be charged at R400 per meter.

  • Should you require a specific colour backdrop to be setup, please confirm that in writing at least 24 hours before the start of your booking.

  • You are not allowed to change the backdrops yourself.

  • Please tidy up the studio before leaving, being mindful of your allocated booking time. If not a cleaning fee of R300 may be charged.

 

Liability

  • Any person entering ENROC STUDIO does so at their own risk.

  • The studio may only be used for the purpose as detailed and agreed in the booking form.

  • NO illegal activities will be allowed on the premises and any person involved in such activities will be removed from the premises without any claim to compensation.

  • ENROC STUDIO reserve the right to have a representative present at any time during a shoot.

  • Neither ENROC STUDIO, its staff, nor the building landlord and its staff, can be held liable for any injury to any person, damage to property or loss of property regardless of how the incident occurred.

  • Throughout the rental period, the hirer shall be responsible for the safe keeping of the equipment and the premises and shall be liable to ENROC STUDIO for any loss of or damage to the rented equipment or premises howsoever caused.

  • The hirer shall pay all costs incurred by ENROC STUDIO in carrying out repairs to damaged equipment and the premises.

  • The hirer shall pay to ENROC STUDIO the full cost of replacing any lost equipment, or any equipment which in the reasonable opinion of ENROC STUDIO is uneconomic to repair, with new equipment of the same or similar specification to the equipment that has been lost or damaged.

  • The hirer shall not carry out or attempt to carry out any repairs to damaged equipment without the prior written authority of ENROC STUDIO.

  • During any period in respect of which the hirer has not already paid to ENROC STUDIO the cost of hiring any equipment which has been lost or damaged as mentioned above and until such time as payment shall be made to ENROC STUDIO pursuant to conditions above, the hirer shall pay to ENROC STUDIO compensation for the loss of use of the equipment lost or damaged at a rate equivalent to the cost of such hire charges incurred by ENROC STUDIO.

  • Should the client need to leave any equipment or items in the studio for longer than the scheduled rental time, written arrangements must be made with ENROC STUDIO.

  • ENROC STUDIO will not be liable for any loss or damage to such items or equipment left in the studio beyond the scheduled shoot duration.
